Rudaina Al Momani is CBRL Amman Institute’s Senior Librarian. She joined CBRL in 2011 as an Assistant Librarian, was promoted to Librarian in 2014, and appointed Senior Librarian in 2025. Prior to joining CBRL, she worked at the American Center of Oriental Research (ACOR) in Amman as Assistant Librarian from 2010 to 2014. Over the years, she has led several key initiatives focused on library development and public engagement.
She is currently pursuing a PhD in History at the University of Jordan, with research centered on the institutional and legislative development of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Jordan from 1953 to 1999. She holds a master’s degree in Tourism Planning and Management and a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Resources Management and Museology, both from the Hashemite University.
Rudaina is also the co-founder of the documentation Amman Heritage Houses Project, which documents and preserves Jordan’s modern architectural heritage. Her research and professional interests include heritage conservation, historical geography, archival and library science, sustainable tourism, and the modern history of the Arab region.
