We are delighted to share the final programme for the Emerging Scholars Workshop Researching Forced Migration in the Middle East, sponsored by CBRL and UKRI, hosted at the University of Glasgow on 23 and 24 March 2023.  If you are interested to attend either of our two public events, please get in touch with Judith Hoppermann.

A call for papers went out to early career scholars in November 2022, and the organisers were overwhelmed by the number of applications received.  It was hard to shortlist the speakers as the submission standard was so high.

Dr Tsourapas, co-organiser and previous Trustee of CBRL, is looking forward to hosting the event with colleagues Dr Rawan Arar and Dr Benjamin Thomas White. The workshop aims to highlight cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research on forced migration across the Middle East, while also empowering the next generation of refugee studies scholars.
