The Council for British Research in the Levant sends its deepest condolences to the families of all those killed in the Israel-Gaza conflict and our sympathy to the injured.

We urge all parties to abide by international law and to support innocent people caught up in this tragic conflict.

CBRL has deep historical ties to the countries of the Levant and our trustees and staff feel great sadness for the people of the area and for their suffering. CBRL has carried out academic research in the Levant for more than a century.
