The first Diwan #9 meeting was held on 28 January at the CBRL Amman Institute, and brought together key representatives from Ifpo, GPIA, ACOR and the CBRL team to lay the foundation for the upcoming summer series.
Since 2018, the institutes have been partnering with the Department of Antiquities and Jordanian universities to provide a platform for students, recent graduates and early career researchers to engage in discussions on heritage and archaeology research in Jordan, focusing on fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and exchanging knowledge. We are excited to continue this collaboration to strengthen local connections and enriching our programme.
As we prepare for Diwan #9, we aim to continue inspiring dialogue on the Levant’s diverse histories, cultures, and contemporary issues. Stay tuned for more updates as we shape an engaging Diwan 9 in Summer 2025.
