For 2022, CBRL’s international peer-reviewed journal Levant is pleased to announce the launch of two annual CBRL prizes for Best Article and Best Article from an early career scholar.
The awards will recognise excellent research and scholarship on the archaeology and history of the Levant region, its diasporas and neighbouring countries (prehistory – Ottoman). For the aims and scope of the journal, please see here. For articles not intended as competition entries, a rolling submissions system is in place throughout the year.
A committee from CBRL and the editorial board of Levant will select the best articles from submissions. The winning articles will be published in the Summer 2022 issue of the journal and will be free to access for one year. The prize winners will receive a one year membership to CBRL including online access to Levant for one year.
