Qasem is a qualified key archivist in Jerusalem, degreed on records and archives management from the university of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK. With over 40 years’ experience in creating and managing archives in cultural heritage sector at a number of Palestinian institutions, he has conducted many projects on digital archiving and has published and presented extensively on the topic of Archives, historical libraries and cultural heritage in Palestine. He is now running the digital archiving project at the CBRL in Jerusalem (Kenyon Institute), and in Amman.
