Shatha Mubaideen is CBRL Amman Institute’s Senior Research and Partnerships Officer. She is an architect who found her interest in archaeology growing from the time she attended graduate school at the University of Jordan, where she received an M.Sc in Architectural Engineering and Cultural Resource Management. She had the chance to work closely with the field of cultural heritage protection for the past five years at the Mapping Digital Cultural Heritage in Jordan (MaDiH) project and the Department of Antiquities of Jordan (DoA). She was involved in significant projects and activities such as the Petra Integrated Management Plan, ICHAJ 13 and ICHAJ 14 conferences, and the Amman Heritage Houses initiative as a co-founder.
