- Earliest start date: 1 September 2022

Grants Available:
- Project grants, up to £8,000. Who can apply: Post-doctoral staff at UK Higher Education Institutions (HEI) or research organisations.
- Residential fellowships at CBRL’s Jerusalem and/or Amman institutes, up to 3 months of accommodation, plus travel and subsistence costs. Who can apply: Post-doctoral staff in UK HEI and research organisations and staff based in a Levant university within ten years of graduating with a PhD from a UK university.
- Travel grants, up to £1,000. Who can apply: Post-graduates registered at a UK HEI.
- Research support grants, up to £1,000 for selected costs associated with research for a post-graduate thesis. Who can apply: Post-graduates registered at a Levant HEI.

Applications must be made using the Grant Application form and references must be submitted on the Grant Reference form by Friday 20 May at 5.00pm BST to: [email protected]
All successful grant recipients must sign CBRL’s grant Terms and Conditions and comply with the CBRL Research Manual before commencing their research, including submitting an ethical declaration form and completing the risk assessment template approved by their university or research organisation.
Please note that a university or research organisation must manage grants for post-doctoral applicants.
